Australian Catholic Theological Association
The Australian Catholic Theological Association is a body of Catholic professional theologians serving the Church and society in Australia within the area of systematic theology. The Australian Catholic Theological Association is made up from Catholic laywomen, laymen, priests and religious. Members work in Theological Institutions, Universities, Parishes and other Pastoral settings in Australia and internationally.
College Theology Society
The College Theology Society is a professional association of college and university professors. Founded in 1954 as a Roman Catholic organization of lay and religious teachers of undergraduate theology, the CTS today has a membership of over 900 college and university professors throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. While maintaining its roots in the Roman Catholic tradition, the Society is increasingly ecumenical in its membership and concerns.
The Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC)
The Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC) is a voluntary association of episcopal conferences in South, Southeast, East and Central Asia, established with approval of the Holy See. Its purpose is to forster among its members solidarity and co-responsibility for the welfare of the Church and society in Asia, and to promote and defend whatever is for the greater good.
National Black Catholic Congress
The National Black Catholic Congress, comprised of member organizations, represents African American Roman Catholics, working collaborating with National Roman Catholic organizations. We commit ourselves to establishing an agenda for the evangelization of African Americans; and physical conditions of African Americans, thereby committing ourselves to the freedom and growth of African Americans as full participants in church and society.
International Network of Societies for Catholic Theology (INSeCT)
INSeCT is made up of 30 Catholic Theology Societies from across the Globe. It was founded in 1996 to provide a global platform for exchange and support between Catholic Theology Societies around the World. In particular, it seeks to support Catholic Theological Societies in the global South.
Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC)
The Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC) is an Assembly of Catholic Bishops referred to as a CONFERENCE OF BISHOPS. In most cases such Conferences are National in their make up as the Dioceses coming together to form the Conference are from the same country or nation. The Antilles Episcopal Conference is somewhat unique in this regard as it brings together nineteen Dioceses and two Independent Missions comprising of thirteen independent countries, three departments of France, two parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and six British Colonies.
Catholic Theological Society of America
The CTSA is the principal association of Catholic theologians in North America. With a membership of more than 1300, the CTSA is the largest professional society of theologians in the world. Active members of the Society hold the doctorate in theology or a related discipline. The purpose of the CTSA is to promote theological research in the Roman Catholic tradition that is attentive to contemporary problems faced by the Church and the world.
Black Catholic Theological Symposium
The Black Catholic Theological Symposium: a national interdisciplinary theological society of the Roman Catholic tradition. Our Mission is to foster among Black Catholics an ethical community of scholarly dialogue characterized by commitment, regard and development.
